In compliance with the provisions of the Superintendency of Tax Administration (SAT) And in line with our commitment to the continuous improvement of operational processes, we inform about the implementation of a new digital procedure as of this date for the consultation of withholdings and releases in the Maritime Customs of the Northeast Region. This process is focused on the withholdings made through the Local Monitoring Center, in collaboration with the different authorities participating in the inspection of X-ray images: DIPAFRONT, SGAIA, UCC, MAGA and SAT.
All queries related to withholdings and releases must be made directly by the interested users digitally, designed to avoid misinformation, guarantee the traceability of queries and optimize management times, through the SAT Portal (https://portal.sat.gob.gt/portal/), using the following path:
- Customs
- Customs procedures
- Customs Inquiry
- Public Consultation on Retention/Release
Users will need to enter basic information, such as manifest number, transport document and goods declaration, to obtain the corresponding data.
We reiterate our commitment to the continuous improvement of services and urge all actors in the logistics chain that carry out their operations at the Puerto Barrios Railway Terminal to actively collaborate in the adoption and implementation of this procedure.
